The poorly restored helmet

This is an m33 of the famous "Divisione Bersaglieri Italia" (1943/45), its decals still clearly visible. It's been painted "gate green" maybe...30 years ago by its owner. I received it with the task to fix the damage and bring it back to its original aspect (or the best of it). Here it is, after hours of work. Traces of the original paint are still there, decals have been preserved. Now the ensemble looks a bit better...
